Our Story

  

After years of working in the retail industry, founder Melissa Davis decided in 2014 to pursue her passion to become a boutique owner. Open Profile was created in her Brooklyn apartment as a contemporary shop offering exclusive yet versatile wardrobe staples.   

After a difficult period in 2016, Open Profile was shut down, but was re-opened in 2018 as a second-hand specialty shop. 

Open Profile offers vintage finds from the 70's, 80's, and 90's as well as pre-loved contemporary pieces. The mission is to provide clothing that speaks to the inner artist of each of her clients.
